Paul N. Stockton
Paul N. Stockton is Managing Director for Sonecon, LLC,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Sonecon, llc )〕 a District of Columbia-based advisory firm. In 2013 he served as co-chair of the United States Department of Defense's (DoD) Independent Review of the September 2013 Navy Yard Shooting.〔http://www.defense.gov/pubs/Independent-Review-of-the-WNY-Shooting-14-Nov-2013.pdf〕 From 2009-2013, Stockton served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs (ASD(HD&ASA)), where he helped lead the Department’s response to Superstorm Sandy. He was responsible for Defense Critical Infrastructure Protection, Western Hemisphere security policy, domestic crisis management, continuity of operations planning, and a range of other responsibilities. While Assistant Secretary, Stockton also served as Executive Director of the Council of Governors. He is a Resident Fellow at George Washington University’s Homeland Security Policy Institute, a Senior Adviser to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and serves on advisory boards for the Idaho National Laboratory, ANSER, Inc, and other organizations.〔http://homelandsecurity.org/distinguished-visiting-fellows〕 Dr. Stockton has a PhD. from Harvard University.
